Illinois Masonic Lodge 385 in Savanna sponsored River Ridge Elementary in the Bikes for Books program. Our Wildcat students in grades k-5 read about 750 books in the month of March, with each book providing an entry into the drawing. Today, Sydney Champion, a 3rd grader in Mrs Reese's class won the drawing and received the new bicycle and helmet. Thank you to Tommy Miner for presenting the bicycle this afternoon and a big thank you to the Masonic Lodge for encouraging our students to read with this wonderful program!
