Dear River Ridge Community,

Welcome to River Ridge Elementary! On behalf of our faculty, let me be the first to welcome to the Wildcat community. We are lucky at River Ridge to have several wonderful communities- Hanover, Elizabeth and the Galena Territory- come together to build an exceptional learning environment for our children.

Here at River Ridge we value our commitment to strong academics, character development and emotional support for all of our students. We value each child’s gifts and talents and appreciate our role in building independence and student ownership as we progress through the many phases of childhood development from PreK-5th grade.

We value you as parents – every day!  We see our River Ridge community as a partnership with your home and we look forward to building that collaboration for the good of the kids.  We hope to be continuing the development of good character traits that you are focusing on at home.  We welcome your participation at school by building a positive working relationship with your child's teachers. It is our hope that you talk with your teachers (through email, phone calls, conferences), join PTO, attend school functions, and truly feel a part of our Wildcat community.
