We just got word that River Ridge received a GOLD rating for FAFSA completion among the Class of 2023! Over 85% of last year's seniors completed the FAFSA, which helps colleges determine financial aid awards for students. The only other school to earn a gold rating in Jo Daviess, Carroll, and Stephenson counties was Stockton. Congratulations to the Class of 2023 on this achievement!
A few weeks ago, Mr. Havens asked Mrs. Laity's Computer Apps class to create a flyer for his upcoming Homegrown Wrestling event. We turned it into a contest among the students, and the winner was Jaime Miller! Jaime receives 2 free tickets to the event for her winning design. The runner up finishers (Harmony Packard & Ava Ketelsen) each receive one ticket as appreciation for their hard work. We love projects with a purpose! If you need any design work done, feel free to reach out to Mrs. Laity with the details: jlaity@riverridge210.org. PS - If you're looking for something to do on December 16th, head to Majestic Pines and support your River Ridge alumni wrestlers!
