The formatting class finished up their Microsoft Word unit by writing a properly formatted business letter to their favorite celebrity or company. Envelopes were printed using the mail feature in Word and then sent off. We got our first response from former President Barack Obama...pretty cool!
High School Solo and Ensemble Contest is this Saturday at West Carroll High School in Savanna! Bus leaves the High School Parking Lot at 7:15! Be there BEFORE 7:15! Band room will be unlocked to get instruments! :)

Mrs. Tippett's 1st grade reading groups completed their Dream School Project!! After learning how to make 6 different shapes, each group created their dream school! Their favorite part of the project was a song/video about all of the shapes and dancing through the entire video!!

FFA members concluded their National FFA Week activities today. Today was a make up from last weeks ice storm. We played a heated round of musical buckets and then several rounds of tug-o-war. It was a great end to FFA week!

On Tuesday (3/21) Mrs. Smith took 4 seniors and 4 juniors to the Building and Construction trades expo in Rockford. There they learned about 10 different trades and how to become part of each trade as well as some hands on experience.

The MS Girls Basketball game tonight vs Scales Mound is CANCELED. The Conference Tournament starts on Saturday. The girls will play in Galena at 9:00am vs Benton.
