7th graders are currently wrapping up the play, A Raisin in the Sun, by Lorraine Hansberry. While this play is typically read in high school, it is now part of our middle school curriculum. Elementary staff has been celebrating an underground spirit week. Yesterday was dress in pink for breast cancer awareness month. Today was drink from anything but a cup day! It's been a hoot getting the kids' reactions when they figure out what the grown ups are up to this week!

The Galena/East Dubuque/River Ridge Boys' Cross Country Team placed 6th Saturday in the regional held at Belvidere North. They advance to sectionals! Congratulations!!! 🏃🏃♂️🏃

Last week, Miss Lieb's 4th grade art class learned about shapes and forms. Students built sculptures out of straws and jacks.

• (1) roll of masking tape

We have so many wonderful people working in our district. Today we wanted to pay homage to the paraprofessionals and aides within our district. These individuals work hand-in-hand with our teachers to educate our students. We can't thank them enough for all they do! It's a great place to be a WIlDCAT! 🐾
