River Ridge would once again like to congratulate our RRSM golfers on their STATE GOLF performances. Both golfers qualified for day 2 of the state event. Camden Flack finished 56th in the state. Thomas Hereau was your STATE CHAMPION with an amazing two day total of 143. We are beyond proud of these two and our entire golf team on an amazing year.
RESCHEDULED: The River Ridge NHS banquet is going to be rescheduled to Monday, October 16th at 5:30PM. The previously scheduled date of October 24th is now in conflict with volleyball regionals which are set by the state. In an effort to meet as many student needs as possible this rescheduled date has been determined to be the best available option. The event will still take place in the library. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The 8th-grade Class is selling River Ridge apparel to help fundraise for their 8th-grade trip in the spring!
Orders can be placed online or on paper. The paper copy will be coming home with the students in the next few days. Youth sizes are available, and orders will be due on Friday, October 20th.

To conclude National Yearbook Week, let's meet the middle school line-up of Business Communications students who are putting their time and talent into creating the 23-24 yearbook. 8th: Ella & Bronx, 7th: Natalie, and 6th: Kali, Gabbie, Alaina & Michael.
ALL students in Preschool, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade are required to have a physical on file by October 15th. If you have a student in these grades and haven't turned in a physical, please do so as soon as possible!
Yesterday, the sophomores participated in Manufacturing Day with a full day of exciting experiences! They started their day at Adkins Energy in Lena to tour the facility and learn about all of the jobs available at a biodiesel plant. Tammy's Piggly Wiggly provided us with a delicious lunch and then we made our way to the CTEA to meet with local manufacturing and trade professionals. Students were able to see a solar-powered golf cart and try their hand at VR welding, along with other hands-on activities. We were among over 300 sophomores involved, and a great day was had by all!

The 8th grade FFA members attended the Discovery Conference last night in Stockton. They had three break out sessions which were led by high school students in order to introduce them to the FFA Organization. Our high schoolers led the break out session on teamwork and did a great job!
Early bird pricing for 23-24 yearbook orders is now OPEN!!! Forms went home with elementary students in folders today. Middle/High school students can pick-up a form in the office. Orders can also be placed online through Revtrak. Pre-sale pricing ends December 20.

The FFA Chapter went to Madison today to attend the World Dairy Expo. Students had the opportunity to see some if the best cow shows on the planet as well as the newest dairy industry innovations. Faith Morhardt Graci Allen and Amber Davis competed on the Dairy judging team. The results if that will hopefully be in tomorrow!
